Hi Community,

I have query regarding to Microsoft sustainability manager capabilities. Can we create Base unit in MSM? I am facing below issue while creating it

I am trying to create unit for Energy content Factor (GJ/KL) in MSM, I can be able to create unit group and when i am trying to create this unit asking for base unit and Report unit.

Can you please guide me, how can we create Energy content Factor unit (GJ/KL).

How to create Base Unit in MSM

Base unit is assigned automatically, when you create the first unit in a unit group.

1. Create a new unit group, provide a Name "Energy content Factor", save.

2. In the sub-grid, create a new Unit, specify Name "GJ/KL", save

3. Go back to the Unit groups view, you can see base unit is automatically assigned as "GJ/KL"

4. For any additional units, you'll now need to provide a conversion to this base unit

It should look similar to this out of the box unit group
