Hello fellow sustainability managers,

I am struggling to understand why, when I upload water consumption data, this data is not showcased in the Water Insights dashboard. Even though, when I run the relevant calculation profile, the tool says that all the data was run successfully and that there are no errors/excluded data. Relevant screenshots are attached.

I would greatly appreciate any and all help with regard to this matter!

Replying here too for posterity

The reason why data was not showing up in Water insights dashboard, while all other dashboards were refreshing correctly is due to the Type of water quantity transactions being ingested. We currently only support insights when the type is "Withdrawal" as Consumption is calculated as W - D automatically at runtime.

It is possible to ingest water quantity data with Type = Consumption, but the Power BI dashboard will not work with that data. (for now - there's a feature in the current wave that will address that)

Hi Ivan,

yesterday we made some changes that affected all our dashboards. My colluege posted the issue in another thread. (Broken Analytics Dashboard after bulk deletion (microsoft.com)).

That also influenced our water dahboard, but the issue described in this thread occured far earlier.

I see recent (as recent as today) updates for the dashboards for this environment. What exactly is not working for you, Jakob?

How much time has passed since you added the water consumption data?

The Insights reports refresh roughly every couple of hours. Has that time passed already?

If yes, please either create a support ticket, or paste in your Organization ID and I can take a quick look to see what's wrong.
